"Berserk, back off!" Blossom pointed at her and she grabs her by the wrist. "What's au matter Blossom? afraid I'll steal him away from you?" (I wish I had my hat...) Brick thought to himself in the middle of the cat fight. "I mean it" Blossom huffed.
(uhhhh... are they really fighting over me, or just using me as an excuse to fight with each other?). Berserk tightened her grip on him. "You're so cute, trying to get all mad and intimidating. You look so out of place with him. I mean look at you, you're so ugly. He's mine now" Brick snapped out of his mind and into the conversation. "What?!" Neither the girl had anything to say after his outburst. "..." Both were shocked. "I don't belong to anybody! I've had enough of this!" he then jerked his arm away from Berserk and picks up Blossom in his arms. Blossom being startled by this started to blush. As Brick walked away Berserk stood frozen. But before he had gotten to far he turned around to look at her. "Call her ugly again or I'll sick Buttercup and Brute on you. Got it!" He then took off in the air still holding her in his arms. It was quite. "Thanks Brick...." Blossom finally managed to say.
"For what?"
"Defending me" His expression still looked a little mad. "You can put me down know, I can fly on my own" He finally looked at her then back to the horizon. "Just a little bit longer" He whispered. Butterflies raced in her and her heart started to beat even faster. "Ok..." She tightened her arms around his neck and leaned her head on his shoulder. And then she closed her eyes and listened to the sound of his heart beating with hers as they soared over the clouds.
