Description "Suppose we change the subject..." the Mad Hatter said into his cup of tea, looking bored. His eyes darted to his guest and a grin spread wide across his face. "I vote you tell us a story!"

The Ventriloquist swallowed nervously before he spoke up in a feeble voice. "I-I'm afraid I don't know one..."

"Then I shall!" In a whirlwind of energy, the Englishman leaped up from his seat and onto the table, only to plant himself down before the older man. He took a sedate sip of his tea before launching into his narrative.

Within moments, Wesker was lost. Between the mome raths and bandersnatches, he could not possibly hope to keep up. Still, he had to smile at the other man's antics.

So...prize art! *Shadowpelt caught my 40,001st pageview and asked for the Mad Hatter and the Ventriloquist (no Scarface, unfortunately) "being derpy friends." That immediately translated (in my head) into a tea party. I just came up with that short narrative above.

I've been working on this off and on all week. The initial sketch was done with pencil; everything else was done in Photoshop. I wanted to play around with wonky lighting again.

Ah, I'm sorry, but I don't do requests. Wesker and Scarface are fun villains; their comic book appearances are usually pretty fun. It's awesome to find the Ventriloquist is getting more fans.

Gosh sorry for the wait on the comment! I've been so busy and have friends over haha.

But I saw this literally the moment you posted it by chance when I was posting something. And I loved and still love it so much! I love the picture its self, just the colors work so well with the image and all that we know about Jervis ahah. And the short narrative you added with it just helps bring out a story in the image! I always loved that and wish more people, including myself did it more often. Any who, I also wanted to add that I think I would find myself in Wesker's same situation. He's a sweet guy at heart. Whether he knows what's going on or not, he'd just love seeing someone so passionate.

Hee hee, no worries! It's my fault for getting it done so late.

I'm very glad you like it! The colors do seem very Jervis; it felt necessary. That, and I wanted to play around with different colored light sources again. I had a lot of fun working on this piece. Thank you for having me draw Wesker again. It's been too long since I've done anything with him. And I'd have to agree; I'd be in the same boat as you and Wesker as well.

Ha, it seems like forever since I've seen you draw the Ventriloquist - he is always so sweet in your style!

These two look very much compatible as buddies, oddly enough (if we cut Scarface out of the picture, of course ). I love the jolly, slightly trippy colours you picked for this (especially as you balanced them out with a background darkness), it even has a bit of a disco atmosphere!

It has been a long time since I've drawn Wesker. I tend to draw him way too cuddly, but it's something I am remarkably okay with.

I can imagine them getting along pretty well (but like you said, without Scarface). I really wanted to play around with the lighting again, especially with bright colors. The only thing missing is the disco ball!

I seem to imagine everyone in Arkham dancing to "Everyday I'm Shuffling", so you're not the only one who imagines weird things going on in Arkham.

FFF. Y'know, a few months ago, I had this strange hankering to animate the Music Meister doing that dance. I rather like the choreography to that part, even if I don't like the song.

Interesting idea. I don’t think I’ve seen any stories where they spent time together. I just realized how many Batman villains have a similar backstory, starting out timid until they hit their breaking point and snap in bizarre ways.

They are quite the odd pair, to be honest. They are both so unused as well. They do have quite a few similarities, though, you are absolutely right. Folks break in different ways.
