The Good:
* The pose is right as well as the gun used.
* Background is captured pretty well.
The Bad:
* I think it would've been better if it meet the aspect ratio of the doom game cover rather than being more like a desktop wall paper.
* Font could be a bit closer to the original it's based off of, I mean it's a bit too gritty for me.
Overall I feel this looks superb and is a nice twist on the original meme of getting the Doom cover and putting other game titles on it. I think Halo would look better with this cover.

Given the fact that I both saw the trailer and how the new Doomguy looks similar to Master Chief in terms of design except the helmet.

Pros:
The lighting is stunning, fuck me I'm jelly xd
Editing is just superb
A rather-clever use of the Doom font (Hatred just made it look dumb..)
Not too much of a yellow filter
No lens-flare (Who the fuck needs those xd?)

Mmm yes, I do believe this to be a sufficient amount of "metal". It's, how you say, perfect.
That's the thing, really. I thought the cover to Doom 2016 was badass. Yes it was...generic, and perhaps taking a bit too much advice from Bioshock Infinite's cover, but it was still metal as hell. Partly because it wasn't just some random grunt with a rifle, it was the goddamn Doomguy with a massive shotgun! Tells you everything you need to know; you're a big dude with a big gun. Though I will admit the flip cover IS even better.
