Ahhhhh yeees! YOU ARE MY HERO! I love this so freaking much, it murders my soul. Those faces, those poses, everything about this is absolutely amazing and I can't stop staring. His eyes are so full of emotion, Sand. Damn. Beautiful work <3
Also I love reading that Pappy would appreciate his want to hide away while growing these out haha. She is really the best. I'm sure they'll be having a little celebration in the mean time, including Pappy eventually teaching him how wings work and how to get down. xD

Pappy was a socially awkward, shy child when she was younger so she very much understands wanting to stay out of the public eye. Silas can take as long as he needs to feel comfortable and don't worry Silas, Momma's got wings too, she'll get you down if you get stuck.Β
