Aww, Golbat. I am temped to expect Crobat next. The zubat line can be very good in battle. I noticed that they can be really good at annoying the opponents. It is really fun and effective. Zubat is really fast, so it can often weaken opponents from the start. I like how it can use the toxic-venoshock combo. It involves poison. Recently I have just come up with something. Zubat is faster than the opponent, and it can use bite and air slash. This causes a 30% chance to flinch. On top of that zubat can learn supersonic and then confuse ray. The latter is better, due to 100% accuracy (Although it can be lowered by evasion moves like sand attack and smokescreen). When a Pokemon is confused, it hits itself 50% of the time. All three status conditions can stack. So the opponent has an 80% chance of missing. Every time they miss, the poison and possible confusion give free damage. Zubat is a poison type, but its flying type gives it immunity to Earthquake. This sounds nifty.
