Tell me about it. There were things I liked about Dexter Soy, but it really showed his lack of experience with sequentials. He tried too much.

Truth be told I wasn't digging this costume from the start - it just feels very bland and un-dynamic to look at, and a lot of the early promo-artwork for it (and Carol) didn't look good, especially when compared to how the character looked in the Reed run of her Ms. Marvel books. That this new costume looks better in fan art than it does in the actual comics does not speak well for the competence of Marvel's artists.

And I admit I'm not big on Dexter Soy so far & do not feel comfortable with him reportedly doing the art for this JLA meets He-Man & the Masters of the Universe series that's supposed to come out in a few months. But who knows, maybe his style will work better there than it did/does for Captain Carol D's Marvel. :shrugs:

I think she'd be the perfect CM. Tall, athletic, plus she's no stranger to sci-fi/comic book movies and I think she'd fit well in a group movie like the Avengers while being able to carry her own movie. Just sayin
