I worked on this all day and part of this morning. I think I was finished with it at least twice, freaked, dismantled it, and rebuilt it piece by piece. There’s something about drawing a…..fan passionate character (to me, that is) that the need to get it right is a bit unnerving. I also think she’s my only really happy smiling hero.There are subtle personal details that I wanted, like a streamlined…more ‘batmanesque’ belt and color details, and of course, I seem to make her taller and leaner.

I like it. And I'm a huge Steph fan. Personally, I think there's very little that needs improving or tweaking on her costume. They really did knock it out of the park for Steph on that front. A shame we won't see more of her from DC anytime soon.

Not anymore, apparently she's coming back in a new bat book next year, but she's not going to be Batgirl....is she? *dramatic music*

Nope. They've stated she'll be returning as Spoiler, which I'm actually excited for. Batman Eternal sounds like it's going to be a great character-building book, which is something I've felt they really need in the New 52.

My second favorite Batgirl, right after Yvonne Craig's version.
I like the two tone effect of the Batsuit, as well as the pouches on her left leg. That shows plenty of foreplanning on your part. After all, a girl needs plenty of pouches to carry all of her feminine necessities, and one measly utility belt ain't gonna cut it.
It's a bit odd to see a member of the Batfamily actually SMILING; but they can't all take refuge in scowling like gargoyles. The boys picked up too many bad habits from Batman, if you ask me.

I agree, stephanie is very unnerving to draw because of the passion of her fans.
Again, great, you've heard all my compliments before. The quote though, is awesome. Seriously, perfect quote not just for her but her whole fandom.
