This moment in Majora's Mask is very interesting to me. And it's not just because you have to work hard to get every mask in the game--only to give them all away. It's not just because the serene sort of ambiance of the moon is crunched up against the dark feel of the entire game. And it's not just because the Fierce Deity mask is the ultimate, most powerful thing in the game, more powerful than even Majora......it's because it is Majora who gives it to you.
"Are you ready? You're the bad guy. And when you're bad, you just run. That's fine, right?"

This is something I noticed looking at the drawing, I almost mistook the child's finger as a tear drop about to fall from the Fierce Deity Mask's eye hole. This drawing looks awesome.

Actually... I noticed that as I was drawing, considered fixing it, and then decided that I liked that it could be seen that way.

Yeah, Majora's Mask is the only game out of the series that has a cryptic, symbolic feel to it... Just now, as I look at this scene...the way you depicted it just gave me a new insight into what is happening here. I think that Link has somehow entered inside of Majora's subconscious. Maybe that explains why Majora gives the mask to Link. He's not aware of it.

My favorite part of the whole exchange is the implication that Link is somehow the evil one, and that Majora is granting the world of Termina justice by destroying it.
