I always enjoy how you step outside of the style of the show's wings to make ones that are more functional.
I find it quite humorous when artists make a masterpiece when they just intended to sketch.

I really like the wing size. Show-sized wings always look too thin and weak to me. This Thunderlane looks like he really could fly.
