This piece gives a strong reminder that change is constant. It is inevitable, but without it, we couldn't move on.
This is an absolutely beautiful emotional painting! The anger the two share accompanied with the lightning from the clouds whose colors give off sadness and solemnity complement each other very well. The bottom segment tells of a much more cheerful past with its brightness, uplifting colors and playfulness between the two characters. These strong contrasts of the two halves of the picture intensify the feeling of regret between the two, and it's quite saddening to see them against each other now.
Needless to say, I love this piece! 'Definitely one of my favorites from you so far! Have you been working on expressions lately? You're getting much better at making them look a lot stronger!
