Well I just have to comment on this one, it's frincking epic! I love how nothing drops below 10% of lightness (or mostly) and yet it preserves the dark style, I have no idea how to do this in my work, I always overshade stuff. Also, I noticed in the timelapse, that you mainly used overlay blending mode when transfering from Grayscale to RGB to throw some colors in. I wanted to ask - is there any reason why not to go for color blending mode? Any perks of overlay over color? And one more - after you threw colors in, it looked dull, so you added some extra spark using probably color dodge and color burn blending modes, but I'm not sure about this one, maybe just dodge, burning it would be too visible. Am I right about this?

As the wind moved in the background a sudden swoosh was heard and a pegasus landed on a ledge with all four hooves. Her left goggle was smashed but luckily it didn't harm her eye which was closed. She took in the smell of the land, the air blowing through her rainbow mane and tail as her wings remained halfway close as if awaiting a new command.
This is my home..... my family..... I will not allow it to succumb to any tyrant. Be they a King of Shadows, a Queen of Lies, or the lowest scum in Tartarus..... this is my home and I will defend it. She thought to herself as her left eye opened. A fire brimming behind it. She was Rainbow Miriam Dash. Wonderbolt, Element of Loyalty..... and she was also Nightshade, the silent assassin, the dark spy..... the Shadowbolt.
