See pic 1 for intro to these sketches.Fifth page of practice. Yup, more Coraline. After the sketches from the movie run i wanted to draw more of her, with this sphere/shapes/back-to-basics practice i've been doing as of late, i wanted to do more of her! so, here's 4 new sketches of her with differing expressions and outfits. I quite like expressions 2 and 3 the most (wary/confused, joy/love) of this set. the blue came through again, some of the heavier pencil lines faded. expression 4 (sadness) didnt come out as planned, body threw it off but i loved drawing her head XD
I plan to colour this sometime soon as i love this page so much!
Next up is Um Jamma Lammie and UIlala in the sketches run. gonna start doing more body sketches after a bit of research of shapes for bodys.

Your style really fits Coraline and the expressions are done very well, can't tell you which one is the
best, but I guess I'm going with the both at the top.~ What I wanted to add is my opinion about
the hair style, I actually like this one more than the original, awesome work!

I've been playing about with her hair a wee bit in these, i've started to settle on a look that works for her and made it more circular in the last part. pic 2 is my fave take on her hair!

Yeah, I like the hair on every pic, but again, the both on the top are the best, as you said.~
I also saw your other Coraline drawings a while ago and I wanted to ask if you're going
to draw more of them after you finished the last part of this one - tsukiko-chan.deviantart.com/ar…
but I wasn't really sure if I should ask or not, so I will ask you now, will you do more Coraline art
in the future? Because that would be awesome! ( I think so because you said you love to draw her,
but I want to be sure so I can look forward to it!~)

yup, i intend to draw much more coraline in the future, mostly a pic here and a pic there but i might try doing mini comics of her perhaps if i get the time 
I think I'm going to try get a nice coloured pic of her done in next month/2 and see where things go from there :-D
