Did this for a friend as a gift - have been on a big Amano kick lately.Watercolor, 8x12 on 90 lb. Had to crop it a bit from the photo because the paper curved up on the corners >.<
Kinda wish I could go back into it now and get some more darks in there... but I gave it away already

Funny you should mention both in tandem 'cause I've recently started picturing Amano doing the Dragon Quest cast in the potential, yet unforeseen DQ/FF crossover.
...And maybe vice-versa, but not as much as the Amano+DQ one if that's alright. ^_^;
