Perhaps the cause of the Great Wave?I can't believe I finally finished this. I started the original drawing for this last July. Talk about procrastination. I'm glad this is done though as I'm really happy with the end result! It's based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa". Hope you enjoy it! Prints available here .

Ya know this concept, gyarados in the great wave, is a very popular one but this is perhaps my favorite rendition of the idea. Well done!

holy crap I can read that katakana! giyaradosu, anyway this is amazing, it reminds me of Japanese woodblock art (which I assume was the intent.) and this scene specifically reminds of another secene piece of Japanese art.
