I think it's one of those wooden tips used for wind instruments (can't remember the name) and he's just 'moistening' it.... but a flute doesn't need one of those things... Oh my gosh he's smoking!

Or maybe it's Shikamaru. That would explain the smoking and the fact he doesn't have the seal. Ps, the wooden tip is called a reed. Personally, I don't use one, being a flute player, but my brother, a saxophone player, does. It's much more of a hassle than it needs to be.

Oh! It most likely is Shikamaru, since his eyes aren't clear and his hair is rather short to be Neji. PS Yeah it's called a reed! I used to play flute for a little while(trial lessons), and a reed isn't necessary.

I'm a musician, so I have to say they all look pretty badass, especially Naruto (since I'm also a pianist, haha). Of course, I don't think anyone in their right mind would hold their flute that way though. The concept is great! I'm tempted to write a story about it.
