I took this a few days ago, and held it for closer to Carole's Birthday. I was thinking about putting it up yesterday, but I didn't want it getting missed in all the 9th DA birthday festivities.

This rose is for a person of inspiration to me.... =e-CJ is a wonderful photographer. Living in the Seattle area, she has plenty to shoot. Although her photography is superb, what inspires me is that C.J. battles Leiomyosarcoma. It can be very difficult for her to do the things you and I take for granted.
You can read all about this on her page. C.J. lives each day at a time, and captures the beauty through her Canon.

She asks no pity, and accepts what "is" as "is", but never gives up the fight. In as much as she accepts it's existence, and talks freely of her cancer, she doesn't yield to it, and realizes the best way to beat it is research and early detection.
So, when you have a bad day, for one reason or another, or you have to trudge up a steep hill to get that shot, let C.J. Morgan be an inspiration to you too. If she didn't keep going, you wouldn't be able to enjoy these wonderful photos featured below.
