A double bass!! Such a lovely sight for a violist like me. It does my heart good to hear that about your musicians. It seems like too many are just people that jump into a particular branch with no knowledge of any other branch or desire to learn about other music.

very nice photo! i love shallow dof! color of the background is very pleasant and doesn't interfere with the mutually counterpointed shirts. and it fits with the color of the double-bass + casts a perfest browny overtone over the piano - i presume it's originally black, but i like the reflection here! more balanced!...
still, i'd like to see more sharpness of the foreground i.e. your figure (especially hair)! (then it would be *great* photo!...
