Description The Dua (supplication) is a personal conversation with God. There is nobody between you and Him.
He even says in the Holy Qur'an: "And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided." (2:186)

And also: "And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein" (50:16)

The Dua is a very uplifting, liberating, empowering, and transforming conversation, a daily source of energy, that can be done at any time. And it's important to not only do Duas during times of difficulty.

Every Dua should actually begin in the name of Allah, putting all trust and hope in Him alone.
You will feel relieved after describing your difficulties to your Creator and you feel empowered after having communicated with the Allmighty. We should thank Him for His gifts and ask for all of our needs: Those related to this world as well as those related to the Hereafter. So you can pray, that He might help you (or someone else) with your exam or with your parents and friends, as well as that He might let you enter paradise.

And there are some ahadtih (narrations about the life of the Prophet (peace be upoun him)) that emphasize the high value of the prayer at night, like this one:
"Amr ibn Absah narrated that the Prophet said: 'The closest any worshipper can be to His Lord is during the last part of the night, so if you can be amongst those who remember Allah at that time, then do so.'"

Inspired by an interesting conversation I had last time. (;

Nice art! You are right. We can't do life on our own. "God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins." Romans 3:24 (in the Injil)

The previous verse says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23

We all need God and will only be able to find true peace with Him when we accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on our behalf. We can't do enough for God. He knew that so he provided Jesus in order for us to be able to have a relationship with Himself. God loves us so much! Now, because of what Jesus did for us, when he died on the cross, we do good deeds because of God's ultimate sacrifice for us, the death of his one and only son, Jesus Christ! Jesus not only died but rose from the dead showing that we too shall conquer death and live with Him forever. Believe in Him and you will have eternal life! Be baptized and wash away you're sins! Live with a relationship with Him forever. God bless you!

Allah hates women and loves men (thats why he gave women to the man and not made them equal partners). I wonder if her parents just sold her to a marrige with a man 20 years older than her whoom she never mer. Her age is about right.

user2name1 In reply to xanatos321 [2016-09-16 12:43:54 +0000 UTC]

Allah loves men and women not by their gender, but by the contents of their hearts. What I mean is, those who worship Allah more and are close to him will be loved more. It doesn't matter if they are men or women.
Of course they are not equal because Allah gave men and women different tasks and he created men and women differently. But once again, Allah does not judge based on that, but on their heart.
Plus, I'm not sure if it was racist or not but i feel like you think most Muslims sell their young daughters to old men. Just so you know, please don't judge that way because in reality that's just what some messed up cultures do. In Islam, it's actually forbidden to do.
In conclusion, Allah does not hate women. And proper Muslims don't give their children away for money.

Why are you lying?

Of course my attitude disgusts you, I am insulting Islam. Islam disgusts me qute a lot. If muslims ever got hold of me I would be dead. Here you cant force me to shut up. You canot harm me like muslims can ham anyone protesting Islam in muslim countries.

If the forced marriges are forbidden please quote the sura and verse (or hadith).

Allah cant guide me because he does not exist. My moto: There is no god but Natural Selection and Darwin is its scientist.

dreamart2611 In reply to xanatos321 [2012-08-25 19:44:43 +0000 UTC]

I am not lying.

But you know what? You can insult Islam all you want. It is YOU who will reap the consequences, not me.

I can't harm you? What makes you think that I even want to TOUCH you? Islam keeps me away from the violence you are promoting.

Allah Almighty said in the Noble Quran: "O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may take away part of the dower [money given by the husband to the wife for the marriage contract] ye have given them, except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brings about through it a great deal of good. (The Noble Quran, 4:19)"
by
It is clearly stated that women CANNOT be inherited for mairrage against their will.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as having said: "A woman without a husband (or divorced or a widow) must not be married until she is consulted, and a virgin must not be married until her permission is sought. They asked the Prophet of Allah (may peace be upon him): How her (virgin's) consent can be solicited? He (the Holy Prophet) said: That she keeps silence. (Translation of Sahih Muslim, The Book of Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah), Book 008, Number 3303)"

Another hadith: Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: "A virgin came to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and mentioned that her father had married her against her will, so the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) allowed her to exercise her choice. (Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah), Book 11, Number 2091)"

I hope this was of assistance to you.

But one more thing. You say that I cannot harm you like muslims can harm anyone protesting Islam in Muslim countries.

Which "Muslim" countries are you speaking of?

Pakistan?

Afganistan?

Syria?

Do you consider them to be "Muslim" countries?

Because I can assure you that just because a group of people CLAIM to be Muslim, and use Islam to justify their crimes, that does NOT mean that they are "Muslims".

The people who harm others in those countries are not Muslims. If they say they are, they are LYING.

Please do not judge the majority, by a minority.

Only Allah truly knows what is in their hearts.

You may not believe in Allah (s.w.t) and that is fine by me.

I have no right to FORCE you into Islam, for there is no compulsion in religion. (Any 'Muslim' who says otherwise is wrong).

Believe what you want.

Believe in Science. There's nothing wrong with that, I believe in Science too.

Science and Islam do not contradict each other. They complete each other.

But don't take MY word for it.

Find out YOURSELF.

If you believe in Science, then surely you believe in knowledge? Seek knowledge, and LEARN about Islam instead of insulting it.

And if you don't...then YOU are the liar.

But, hey...it's YOUR life.

If I have said anything right it is from Allah, if I have said anything wrong it is from myself.

Peace be to you.

Marrige:
1) Are you trying to tell me that women CAN be inherited in Islam. Are they slaves? Part of the property? WTF? Be careful what you post here, some of us can READ.

2) This only protects virgins (all others are free game) up to certain point when her father says SHUT UP and she has to mary the guy or be punished by her father (for disobeying him). What kind of protection is that?

3) Again virgin (all others take a hike) and just one specific case. A story that proves nothing.

A muslim country is any country with blasphemy laws that protect Islam (muslims are always alowed to insult other religions - Quran itself insults and demeans other religions). If you cant insult islam without a penalty more severe than a reprimand to behave (jail, beatings, death) you are in a muslim country, easy is it not? Try to walk on a street with a placard with "Jesus is the savior and Christanity is the future of man" in a muslim country - see how long you last in the middle of the "religion of peace and tolerance".

xanatos321 In reply to dreamart2611 [2012-08-29 20:06:09 +0000 UTC]

But I learned about islam, that is the reason I am insulting it. I find it disgusting, selfserving ramblings of a debauched madman (the big Mo himself). I did not even care about Islam and belived the "religion of peace" lie before I read the Quran. What an eye opener that was. It suddenly made so many things clear.

And about the Quran and science its simple. Are the LAWS of nature or is everything just gods WILL? You see, there is a reason the once most advanced parts of the world are now some of the most backwards ones. The reason is Islam. It kills independent thought, dissent, critical thinking. The very basics of science. Quran is one of the most unscientific books ever written, not because the statements are wrong (they are wrong in science books all the time), but because you CANNOT question it as a muslim. No questions no science - not now, not ever.

dreamart2611 In reply to xanatos321 [2012-08-30 03:57:58 +0000 UTC]

Yes, you learned about Islam. Or so you say.

Well, since your life is so clear, you really don't need my help now do you?

Ironic though...the very person who accuses Muslims of insulting other religions without a care in the world...is doing the very same thing to me right now.

You may be an Atheist or a Christian, Jew.... I don't care.

You have your path to follow.

And I have mine.

But please, before you preach a message about insulting other religions, respect, etc...I suggest you practice the message yourself.

Hypocrites are not likely to be taken seriously.

Wow.

So you know neither Science OR History. Good to know.

You see, these backward parts of the world, these people with no science, are the reason you have the science you have today.

Don't believe me? Search it up yourself.Maybe you can find an non Islamaphobic source this time.

You can't question Islam?

Sure you can.

So many people do.
But the thing is, you only question something if you think it is wrong. So you say Islam is wrong. Go ahead question it.

But in Islam there is proof. Even if you think it is wrong there will always be proof to support the claims.

Try reading this book, written by Maurice Bucaille, a notable French scientist. He had questions too.

But he found answers.

In the Quran.

[link]

Read it if you want, it's not like I'm FORCING you.

After all, you are the one who wanted knowledge. Here's your chance.

Peace.
