i was thinking only france and turkey is banning scarves!

Well, it's not a big problem like in France. In Germany you can't teach with a headscarf and it's more difficult to find a job with it. In school, it is (still, alhamdulillah) allowed for students. But from time to time there are some public discussions about it ..
