I finally settled on a design for my dear necromancer OC, Abyreth <3 You can read more info about him here: sta.sh/0lz2807jsfz And of course, feel free to ask anything you want to! ^^
This ended up being quite good practice for linework and outfit design... I hope it looks alright. Thanks to everyone who joined me in the stream

Amazing OC. I love the shading and the little details like the dirt at the end of the tunic. What kind of brushes do you use to color? it makes it look a little like a painting

Ever since I was small I have always searched out the greatest pieces and talent in the art industry, I use media such as deviant art other unique piece websites in order to improve my own talent and find others with potential. Oooh, Abyreth went to a private school! That's so cool, and he fences... I have always thought that lithe, quick-reflexed young men are so attractive, and fencing is definitely a sport for the quick! It's really a fun idea that the scar is something he wanted intentionally. For so many people scars are something that they associate with pain and bad memories, but for Abyreth it's something he's proud of, like a badge of honor. I love that!
I love the elven names you choose for your OCs! I always have my trusty D&D source books handy. One of my favorites has lots of information about elves, including a language chart with name fragments. I was curious, so I looked it up!
Selwyn: "High musician"
Abyreth: "Sly Arcane Crafter"

Yeah, he's a bit posh I suppose 
D'y'know, I never knew that! I name all my elves in 'modified' Old English- so Selwyn (Selewine) roughly means "fair friend" and Abyreth (Ābireþ) comes from a part of a verb meaning "to endure". It's interesting to see that those names are used in the source books too- and it's cool that Aby's name is really fitting!

I have so many ideas for my part of the trade, I cannot wait to show you mine and to see yours~ Incidentally I tried to install DAZ the other day but I can't figure out how to get it to install somewhere other than the C: drive... I need to install things on my D: drive haha... I need to have a proper look into how to do that xD

I'm sorry DAZ is giving you a hard time! I wish I knew enough about the installation process to give some advice. 
I'm up to five or six images in the collage, I think. They're so sweet and beautiful together! I'm also just working on a tiny bit or writing to pose with the pictures. Nothing long or complicated, it's just kind of like a little love letter from Zak to Selwyn. Thank you again for doing this fun trade with me, it's been very inspiring!

Haha, I'm sure it's really simple, but I'm not that great with computers either! I did look it up, though, and apparently moving DAZ after installation can cause some problems with the programme so I won't risk that

Hæslen, that's so mystical, I love that! Elven names are so fun. Elves are the race I always play the most. They're just so elegant and sexy and majestic. Oh... and the ears. Don't get me started on the ears. The longer the better!
Ah, now that I think about it, the reason why DAZ is probably a little picky about where you install it might because of its "content installer". Whenever you purchase items in the DAZ store, it quite helpfully downloads them into the parts of the program where they will be most easily used and found. If you move its location around, it might have trouble with the downloads and you'd have to install the content manually on your own, which can be frustrating.
Ohh, please feel free to make it as racy or romantic as you like. My little Zak is very physical, so when he likes someone he's bound to be passionate with them. He comes off as very arrogant and confident when people first meet him, but when he's alone with someone he loves he's an eager little sub, so Selwyn is welcome to put him in whatever positions he likes. Several of the pictures I've made have them shirtless and snuggling, I've just been assuming they like one another as much as I like seeing them together.

I love elves too, I really do! Fantasy elves are wonderful but (as you've probably guessed) I really have a soft spot for the elves of myth and legend... There's so many different varieties throughout the Scandinavian/Germanic countries, I just find it fascinating
Ah, that makes a lot of sense. I figured there would be a reason as to why DAZ doesn't what to be installed any where else, and that does seam logical. My C: drive just has very little storage space, you see, everything is stored on my D: drive :/ There's probably a reason for that but... I have no idea why xD

Exactly- all those events and influences had a huge impact on his personality. All my characters were affected by that battle in one way or another, but I think it was hardest for Aby
