This Friday my husbands grandfather passed away. He got to the stunning age of 92. We went to see my husbands family this Sunday. It was a very dark and stormy day, and the light had gone early. I still wanted to somehow capture his grandfather essence from inside his home.He was a fiddler and a violinist, and he built his own instruments. This is his handcrafted violin, hanging on his living room wall. It tells me so much about this wonderful man.
He left his wife of 70(!) years behind. I just pray that her heart is not too broken. I know mine would be.
