Another month goes by, another batch of cartoons to commemorate the anniversaries of. This time around however, all these series here are not only very recent, I haven't actually seen anything of them outside a few clips. So I'll be brief in going over each of these.

Eliott from Earth premiered just last year, being produced by the Hannah-Barbera Studios Europe and aired in the United Kingdom where I live before making is way to America. The series showcased the titular eleven year old and Frankie, his geologist mother, travelling to the other side of the universe and encountering new alien civilisations alongside a talking dinosaur named Mo. The series, from what I've seen, was held in high regards by the cartoon community, but had been hampered on arrival due to being aired during school times, being burnt off in a week, and anything regarding reruns or news on the series has been radio silent ever since apparently.

Airing on the 30th in 2018, Craig of the Creek turned four years old last week and follows the misadventures of Craig Williams and his two friends, Kelsey Pokoly and John Paul "J.P." Mercer in the titular creek, a large expanse forest connecting to numerous different backyards where children run wild and free, building tree forts and amassing tribes. The series is notable for being one of few CN series to feature a black protagonist and has garnered a sizeable fanbase since arriving on the scene, receiving multiple nominations for outstanding children's programming and just last year was announced to be getting a pre-school spin-off series focusing on the Craig's little sister, titled Jessica's Big Little World.

Sharing this birthday and having aired just one year after is Victor and Valentino, a supernatural comedy adventure featuring two brothers of highly contrasting personalities, the former being rambunctious while the latter's level-headed, investigating the strange goings on in the town of Monte Macabre. Originally starting out as an idea for a video game, the creator, Diego Molano, would go on to revise the concept as a short pilot for Cartoon Network after having served an internship at Titmouse, with the series draw heavily on Mesoamerican folklore and art.

Reading about all three of these series definitely has me interested in checking them out in the future when I have the chance. But for now, I hope you're all looking forward to the next piece, because April's lineup is looking to be... quite interesting.
