Description I just had a wierd longing to make a counterpart of my dark arm, which is my left arm as usual for some reason. So I decided to make a gauntlet of light and justice and all that good stuff, for the right arm and make it all nice and white and gold looking. It is a type of wisby gauntlet with my own designs in it. Also made of Stainless Steel 16-17 gauge and few brass parts. It has white leather, which is kinda hard to come by, and on the cuff I have white rabbit fur (sorry bunny lovers).
So yeah, I have Salvation and Damnation as my hammers of justice! XD

This is really, really gorgeous. I too have a one-glove fetish: [link]

Thanks, and also for the fav. I usually have ideas for one gauntlet or glove at a time and if it works as a pair then maybe I will make a matching one.

I really like this, but why did the bunnies have to die D:
Anyways I like how detailed your armor is and how it looks like you take your time to do a nice job rather than just rush through it and make a ton of mistakes. I would also like to see of a picture of you wearing the two gauntlets on DA some time.

I have been trying to get a good shot of them together but its really harder than I thought. It was actually a first attempt at the design and not trying to be so bulky as I usually do.
Thank you still, it was only one bunny. XD

Maybe you can cross your arms across your chest, but then one gauntlet will be covered a bit.
btw, I was looking at some other comments on here (it's not my fault I'm a bit nosy) and I found out that you are a lefty. I'm sort of a lefty but the righty world has changed me.

I think I will have my big cloak on and holding a big o' sword thrusted in the groung with both hands while covering my face, that way emphasis is on them rather than me.

I love these (the light and dark gauntlets)! They're so interesting, and they look very well made.

Don't get your hopes up, 'cos I probably won't be able to afford it, but how much would it cost to commission you to make one?

Also, do you have an Etsy account?

Thanks
XD how very motivating. I really dont know because I made them on my own time so its kinda hard to decide, and which one? Salvation or Damnation? Also I do make custom jobs, because everything I make usually is fitted for a specific person. That way prices are negotiable depending on the materials and design, also because most people that come to me are living la vida broka, lol. Whats your pricing range?

Kind of unrelated, but I was reading your description again, and you said, "...a counterpart of my dark arm, which is my left arm as usual for some reason." It's interesting that you say that because left and right used to be called sinister (get it, bad?) and dexter! (-:

I actually like the Damnation one better (even though it's probably waaayyy out of my buying range, lol). (-:

Pricing range: Preferably less than $65 for a single gauntlet, but I would be willing to negotiate, too, if that's too low for a custom job. (Sorry if that's way off, I've never bought handmade gauntlets before.)

Well one of the main reasons I have it as my left is because I was born left handed and was cruely trained to be right handed by a bunch of whako teachers for a few years while in elementary school, however my reflexes and sword arm are still my left, just now I have horrible hand writing XD. I dont usually say that but I guess its ok now, so its kind of a little poke at my life that I really know.
I thought I was the only one who was into the whole single gauntlet thing, lol. It also depends on how much like mine you want it to look like, you want the whole claw thing or do you have some personal modifications? Also I am kinda out of that good steel, it was leftover of my uncles renovation of a kitchen XD.
Still that price is negotiable, we may have to downsize on a bit...

Wow, that's horrible. I thought they stopped doing that in the early 20th century...

Single gauntlets are the best! (-:

I would like it to be pretty similar to yours, just with a different symbol on it (maybe something I design, if you can do that) and leather on top instead of metal for the bracer. I'm not picky about the leather's color, just a good balance between durability and price. Definitely with the claws.

What would you ask for something like this?

This old lady... was pretty old, I had to sit in her office and write in a box of salt until all my letters were right, I have horrible penmenship now because of her, XD lol.
Single gauntlets rock!
Well send me a design and we can work with your price, unless I find more good steel I will have to use like 20-22 gauge steel I have, that or brass or copper. Color doesnt really affect price, unless you want like neon colors or glow in the dark XD.
The way I designed the claws, its not very good at gripping but was meant for clawing and stuff, thats why its a ring type claw, so I dont pull off thre leather and my finger tips hold down the claws and dont get hurt while clawing. Did you have something else in mind?

Aww, that sucks. You have my sympathy, especially as a fellow lefty. The worst that ever happened to me was that I had to write the letter "r" 100 times in a row in kindergarten.

OK, I'll start drawing immediately and think of a good color scheme. Brass or copper would be just fine, and so would your claw design.

I had to do that too, hahaha. We will not conform!
Remember, you can match a color to go with the gold of brass or orangy-red of copper, as leather goes anyway.

lololol!

I think brass metal and maroon leather would be nice together (if you have those). Here's a [link] to my designs (a.k.a. very rough sketches colored digitally).

I dont know if I am bringing this to Comic-Con. I am haveing trouble completing my main gear for Comic-con. This really wasnt to be worn as part of it. Kind of a side item to be made into something later, though it might be a alternate costume on the other days when I am to tired from carrying my armour for one day or two.

You should totally bring that thing to Comic Con.

Well it wasnt a part of my original desing for my main costume, but maybe I will as part of an alternate because lugging pounds all day is rough, especially wearing big o' boots.
