There are so many questions to be asked here. The first is why did snips and snails draw smiles on their hooves, how did the do that with out me noticing, and why did they try to join in on the doll party?
Another good question is why it takes me a second to realize that those hooves are not one of my dolls.
It's obvious why S&S don't recognize her. The art style has changed too much.
