Description Another pointless test with watercolors. It is some kind of spirit/imp of woods in the middle of lake.

I love it! It's so cute and dark at the same time

I also mistook the lake for misty ground, which seems to work quite well. Your nature spirit is wonderful, and cute. And for some odd reason its expression reminds me of my puppy.

Thank you! I thought that she would be very shy but friendly, like a (timid) puppy like you said.

Pointless? Hööhphö. Mikään testi ei ole koskaan hyödytön Tämä ainakin tuli ulos upeana, niin miten se voisi olla hyödytön!
Tykkään miten hyvin tuo otus sekoittuu veteen missä se kököttää. Kaunista! Suuremmat kontrastit olisi ehkä tehneet kuvasta todella mielenkiintoisen.

I simply love your watercolor-works Mreid973 said all that was needed to say, I just add my love for this piece. The lines are very soft and little blurry and so maybe details or sharper lines would be a help.

You should draw a children's picturebook or something. These are seriously good and very watchful.

Tests with watercolors are never pointless, as they can be tricky. While I'm not sure that the lake turned out lake-like (it appears more like blue ground saturated in fog), the spirit turned out well. I love the pose. The spirit seems to be going somewhere very intently. The sweep of the back and leafy arm was done beautifully with varying shades of green. The yellowish-green lump of an arm(?) on the spirit's right side could have been a little clearer, though. My favorite part is the red flower protruding from the spirit's chest. Is its fragile heart always out for the world to see?

Lovely job. Maybe you could use the spirit for a more detailed work later, whether or not you decide to use watercolors.
