Description The Pressurized Neutronic Destablizer

Powered by a canister of aerosolized coronium,
the Pressurized Neutronic Destablizer forcibly
expels neutrons from the atomic nuclei of the
target mass. The resulting shift in atomic
structure destabilizes said structure and soaks
surrounding materials with radiation.

Naturally ineffective against structures
lacking neutrons, the weapon is nonetheless
effective against 98% of cataloged life forms.

Professor Tursiart's Ray Pistols & Accoutrements
Are unique prop weapons and gadgets made from repurposed and found objects, with body casts of genuine simulated metals*. Sporting the latest in fictitious technology from tomorrow's yesteryear and the future that never was; these pistols are fashioned in an amalgamative style of steampunk, sci-fi, and retro-future aesthetics. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art, handcrafted by Professor R. Tursiart herself.

*aka, plastics

Not particularly one of my favorites... I think I might tinker with this one some more and see if I can improve it. The thing I DO love is the rust effect I was able to create as part of the patina. Eventually, you might find this one for sale in my etsy store [link] . Anyway, I realized I haven't posted anything new in over a week, despite a load of art I *could* be posting... so here ya go!

Do you ever do rayguns or items in the 1950's "atomic age" style aesthetic?

Yes, sometimes.

So let me ask you, do you sculpt these and mold them yourself? Or are they existing guns that were modified?

Well, this particular gun is one of my oldest. It's also my least favorite. It's actually just a regular squirt gun that I painted. Most of my other guns are actually solid and cast from bits of preexisting generic toy guns which I modify and sculpt on. Not this one though. I was thinking of deleating this deviation since it's so crappy compared to my others and I'm not too proud of it.

It really does look like metal!

Thanks! Parts of it actually *are* metal, which I think helps add to the overall effect... but I think I did a pretty good job on the plastic bits this time too.

What gun parts did you Frankenstein together to make this?

This one is pretty basic actually. I think I could really do more to it. The thing on the back is a spent N2O Whippit, which is what inspired most of the title and description.

You could, but only if it doesn't prevent you from working on further projects
