Sometimes I forget how much I like to draw Karasu. So last night I did a page of doodles for him to make up for the fact that I've haven't really drawn him much lately.
So, funny thing about this guy, ethnically, Karasu is half-Asian, but for some reason whenever I picture him talking in my head, he's always British. Not sure why. >_< Aaaaand that's about all I've got say about that. :>Art and character property

Yeah, and English is one of its official languages (with Cantonese being the other). It would explain the British accent... Just a thought.

True. Though Karasu's name is Japanese, not Chinese. I dunno, maybe he's a Japanese/English kid living in Hong Kong. XD

XD Ah well, it was just a thought. I think someone mentioned that he just be a half-Japanese kid living in England, and that makes sense to me. I'm half Czech and I've met plenty of other people who are half-something English-speakers (half German, half Spanish, half Persian, Philipino-Mexican, to name a few).

There are a lot of Asians living in England actually, perhaps Karasu was raised in there. Erin and I crossed paths with a few Asians in England. Also a lot of Africans. It was kind of odd for me to hear a British accent come out of a big black guy's mouth. XD

lol, I just have a hard time thinking of a british accent coming out of a little Asian. Which is silly, because duh, of course there's asian brits out thee. I'm just not used to it. XD

Well, it's not like it's impossible. He just has one asian parent and grew up English I guess. XD Sometimes my character's just sort of develop their own ethnicities without my knowledge. XD
