One wouldn't see Yoon Oh initiating a conversation or talking too much when he does get engaged in one, but that doesn't mean he is unfriendly. Most of the time, he is happy to offer a smile whenever someone expresses an interest to talk to him. That being said, he prefers one on one conversations and tries to stick to smaller groups, as he finds crowds overwhelming and hard to keep up with. When he has nobody to talk to, Yoon-Oh doesn't mind spending time alone at all. In fact, he quite enjoys it and often tries to avoid social situations in favor to being alone.
Social interactions always having been a weak spot of his, Yoon-Oh has a hard time communicating effectively and always gets swayed by what those around him say. Despite him getting very passionate about an ideal of his, he lacks drive and self-esteem, thus getting easily discouraged if someone gives him negative feedback.

If people don't make their feelings or intentions clear through words, Yoon Oh is likely not to figure out what they mean. He is, in essence, a simple person who has a simple way of thinking and doesn't look deeper into someone's heart on his own.

Despite his own obliviousness, Yoon Oh is like an open book, his feelings always being quite obvious on his face, except maybe for some circumstances. There are, of course, things that even he wants to hide.

BIOGRAPHY
Yoon-Oh came late into his parents' life, after they struggled for several years to have a child. When he was born, they were paid for their long wait as their son was very bright and healthy. However, like in fairy tales, he never really... stopped growing. Always being the tallest one in his age group, sometimes the tallest even among his seniors, Yoon-Oh was outcasted and thus developed an insecure personality. His only escape was hanging out with his mother at the market where she sold the fish his father caught. Unlike the kids, the grandpas and grandmas at the market adored him and often had him sing and dance to trot songs to keep them entertained.

Upon entering middle school, he was encouraged to play basketball thanks to his height. However, he never truly found his place, with the other players not being happy about having someone with an 'unfair advantage' in the team. He quit eventually and settled with leading as peaceful of a life as possible.

It was around that time that his PE teacher took him aside and gave him a lecture about his wasted potential and gave him a few examples of what sports would suit him. The teacher himself was a former sprinter and encouraged Yoon-Oh to train with him. Since this sport didn't require associating with people, the boy decided to try it out and found it... liberating. While running, he was able to let go of all his worries and empty his mind, becoming at ease with himself. Before he knew it, he began to excel at sprinting and even won a few competitions. To him, it felt weird as he was doing this sport for himself and not to win.

After graduating high school, Yoon-Oh moved from his home in Jeju-do to attend Hanwool College, a school that is well knows for producing successful athletes. His only goal is to keep doing what he likes and perhaps one day even take part in the Olympics.

MISCELLANEOUS

Likes: running, karaoke, trot music, sunny days, smol pets, watching mukbang vids
Dislikes: crowds (in his direct proximity), overbearing and loud people, bad hair days, bad rumours about him, being teased
Dreams:  To run faster than Usain Bolt and make his teacher and family proud.

Fun Facts/Trivia: - He can’t handle alcohol. When drunk, he'll randomly sing trot and dance.
- His singing isn't much but his dancing skills are on point.
- His nickname "Boogieman" comes from one such incidents, when he sang and danced to Hong Jin Young's "Boogieman" at his high school graduation party.
- Although he likes trot music, after all his drunken incidents, he's not as open about it and gets frustrated if anyone brings it up.
- Has a very thicc... Jeju-do accent which he tries to keep in control but fails most of the time.
- When he was born, he is said to have high-fived his dad, which is why he is called Yoon (允 - to give) Oh( 五 - five)
- He also can’t handle spicy food
- Has a hard time finding clothes his size.
-       If there’s something he’s particular about, that’s his hair.

RP Preferences: I prefer discord over everything else since it’s easy for me to access from anywhere. My replies are usually within the same
day unless I have something important going on. Everything else I tend to lose track of.

As for Rp format, I usually go for lit, 2 paragraphs and more. I also like headcanons for faster character development.

Other Notes: Currently looking for: Hyungs, nunas and dongsaengs to bond with. I won’t say no to potential romantic involvement but it
    depends on the character. (check my rp comfort meme for this)
