He was actually so much fun to draw..it makes me sad that his character development basically stopped after the first book, although I ldid ove the way he handled Peril in Escaping Peril and refused to tell her what to do like Scarlet did.Honestly, MudWings in general need more love and attention they're so cute and sweet I love them MUDWINGS PROTECC MUDWINGS ATACC AND THE FANDOM NEEDS TO LOVE THEM BACC

I've noticed, it's super cool ^w^ But in this picture it reminds me of like, the comical thing where a really handsome guy smiles, and there's a sparkle in his teeth. It cracks me up because everyone is in love with Clay.

I totally agree. I really love the sib troop feature of the tribe, and they are totally all lovable. Even the queen is super nice and sweet. They even have the bloodred egg-invulnerability to fire power in the tribe. Mud seems to heal them, they need to be warm to breathe fire (which is a really creative weakness) and they can hold their breath longer than any other non-water-breathing tribe. I don't understand what the fandom's issue with them is. They're beautiful and cool, they have their own special abilities, and they have groups of siblings who love each other and work together as a team. I bet the fandom would like them more if they were black and blue with an extra tail and an alligator snout or something freaky like that. I love MudWings just the way they are, and I think all the tribes are super creative and balanced.
