for 's contest.this is 1 of 3 submissions.
The object was to pick a pokemon and make it look realistic. I chose luvdisc kind of randomly and i felt like drawing a fish pokemon so yeah that worked out. I based luvdisc off a french angelfish. I'm not sure how realistic it looks but i like it.
this was my favorite to do out of the three submissions.

This is my favorite as well. It really looks realistic and the details of the scales are excellent! I love the water in the background because it looks like the coral/rocks are blurred (like in photos). Amazing job!

the background is a photo of coral. I took the photo while in costa rica so i have a stock pile of coral photos in my computer. i just blurred it and messed with the coloring a little. ^__^
