Vonn Sketch 9.29.17 - XXVIII

Each year I do a birthday self portrait to reflect on who I am in this current stage of life. As the drawing suggests, I am insanely busy and things are happening fast. I'm participating/hosting drawtober , going to Europe then Iceland, and leaving my full time position all happening in October. (More info on that soon!) I wanted to share some advice to hopefully resonate with a few of you: Success is an attitude, and with the right one, you will find success. But without courage, you will never discover your value. For too long growing up I found myself feeling second rate and thinking I was never worth someone else's time. Always giving excuses for why they wouldn't be able to be my friend and putting more into the friendship to compensate and hopefully have them see value in just keeping me around. You tell yourself this mantra enough times as a child and you begin to believe it as an adult. You need to start believing you are worth it, and the only person you should care about impressing is you! So try making yourself a priority and see what happens. Take you dreams and desires off the back burner and onto the front and I believe you will see a change! - Tim 💛
