I started writing this novel in the fifth grade. I'm on my third rewrite of it. I love these characters so much...although the story is still under considerable construction.

The idea is that these folks are Meakom, who have...affinities...with nature. The aspect of their environments that they share the most affinity with -- their Mayabor -- manifests itself in different ways depending on what clan they're from, their situation and temperament, and the Mayabor. The Maurica and Notturom -- two of the clans -- are at war with the Kaloma and Bytron. The person in power is a Kaloma, which makes the former two the rebels, sort of. Main character: June. Her twin sister: Chris. Chris's best friend: Sam. Sam's cousins: Jordan and Julia. Sam's boyfriend: Trevor. Jordan is also Chris's boyfriend. June kind of...gets dragged into this whole mess. By accident.
