Created with Apophysis 7x version 15D.I'm not too much of a fan of flowers because they are just so common these days. However, I really like the light that I got from this render, so I figured I would upload it anyway. Please enjoy this piece. There's a lot to explore here.
Credit goes out to tatasz and BoxTail , who were both bouncing a couple parameter sets around in the #Aposhack chatroom. This render was moderately modified from one of them.

This is positively breathtaking, I appreciate the title. It reminds me of that last glimpse one sees before the slip into the realm of sleep. The image and the shapes remind me a field of flowers. The way you varied the size from rather larger then medium and then gradually smaller, this adds depths to the image.
The different colors and accents of darker shadow in the background provide contrast to bring out the larger flower designs. The darker areas of this image also provide negative space to give the eye a rest and define the focal points of the picture. Very well done.

I'm glad the title made sense! Sometimes it's just stream-of-consciousness naming, but this piece evoked a few thoughts that led to its title.
Believe it or not, I almost thought about cropping a large amount of the right side out to keep the piece brighter, but I decided against it. Glad you enjoyed!

If flowers were like this, I'd appreciate them more. Flowers these days don't go with my personality...I'm not as bright and cheery, nor am I as gloomy and foreboding.
This piece is very interesting, unlike the crappy stuff that show up on the most recent page. I'm glad I took the time to scroll down.
I would sell almost everything I own for a bedsheet with this pattern on it. I'd end up framing it, though.

Well, as an amateur gardener, I have to say there are no golden-brownish flowers out there. It's really one extreme or the other, unfortunately.
Sometimes I will scroll down the Newest section and see what's up, but I've been wandering through the Undiscovered (beta) section and there's a nicer selection there without the pieces being too popular as well. I highly recommend looking through there sometime!
A comforter with this design would be awesome! Not sure I would use it, but someone would.
