Really sorry for the late upload guys. I got side-tracked this afternoon, it was my roomy's birthday! I also had some technical and layout difficulties with this page. Did a font change too, I think this looks better.We're getting closer to the end of the prologue so please bear with me

Ah, I know what you mean. I like the worms much more. Even though the comic takes place after events of the 4th MR game I decided it would be nice to throw in some monsters we rarely see ^^

Nice. I kinda want to illustrate my current team lol. Right now I have a Shidao (Garu/Ripper), Aero (Pixie/Tiger), Dark Antlan, Corkasus (Dragon/Beaklon), and a Helm Hound (Tiger/Madillo). ^^ love that game. 4 is the best of them all. If only they had more types on it :/

Yeah I liked 4 much better than 3, especially the game style. I'm a tiger fan but rippers are great too. Nice team with the Ripper and Tigers

No, problem! I love Monster Rancher and I think there are many fans still out there. The comic is for nostalgic fans who grew up with the series and for others who may find it interesting

Hehe, yeah he's purple for sure. I looked through all the breeds and chose ones that are my personal favorites. I was really sad the later games discontinued the worm breed so I put one in my comic. Yes, the other two are newer breeds (I have their IDs up in my gallery if you wanna check it out). The tiger definitely has something wrong with his eye, but what is the question o_O sorry I'm gonna be a meanie and not tell because it is an important plot element

See I'm partly making it out of my love for MR and nostalgia but I also wanted it to be like a mini revival; let old fans enjoy and newer generations find something new and great to look into. Thank you so much for reading and faving, my goal is really for people to enjoy it and have fun. I noticed that the worms were gone in my PS2 version. I thought perhaps it was like the original MR3 where you had to have a certain level or something.....sad, I know they discontinued other breeds as well.

Sadly the worm breed is gone forever...along with several others too. At least they added some cool new breeds although, overall I think there are less than there used to be.

Really really old, but MR fandom. I had originally intended to make a fan fic, but it turned and twisted into a story that doesn't reflect MR to much anymore.

yep, terra is a "mint". I combined the two species I loved most and made a whole set of sisters: Pixie, of course, it the pure breed; Terra, is the Mint -pixie+tiger-; Eve, a pixie and naga; Aya, pixie+plant; Heavens, pixie + ...aw crap I forgot the name of it...she was the "angel".
They eventually took on a not so MR look to them all, but if you know what to look for you can still tell where their roots come from. [link] like there of terra, or her brother mael ---> [link] which would be a dragon and "male" pixie...ever there ever was such a thing, i dont think there was.
I need to finish the series! I have all the episodes, but no time to watch them.

You should! I don't think they ever aired the whole thing in the US and I was disappointed. Although the 3rd season gets kinda silly

In the first part of my story Mael is actually quite happy, and acts alot like Vash from Trigun. Then his wife just randomly up and dissapears, along with Terra's husband. This triggers Mael to spril into depression, and Terra to go on a rampage on her planet. Thus the second part of the story begins.

Aw, thanks. I think one of the greatest things you can get out of being an artist is knowing that your art affects people in some way. I'm really glad that the comic made you laugh 
I tried something a little different with the dirt but it came out pretty good. Lol, I wouldn't compare me to the MR4 opening, that was ridiculously nice but thank you anyway. Thanks too for another fave

Yeah, it's true. I don't think the series ever reached mainstream popularity and it is pretty old now. Glad you're enjoying, I hope I can get the next couple pages up soon because that'll be the end of the prologue and then the interesting stuff will really start!
