The lone assassin traveler turns as the demon addresses him, emerging from the darkness of the lush forest. The demonic creature promises rewards in return for service to his dark clan, and while the assassin reaches for his dagger in defense of the demon's persistence, he doesn't notice the demon's companion, slithering silently through the low-hanging branches...

Comish for Aeto of FA of three of his characters in a confrontation... We decided on a scene where the demon, Gilandree, shows up to recruit our Raptor assassin to join...the dark side, essentially, while Gildandree's associate, Aeto the naga, brings up the rear, keeping an eye on their subject lest he show them some of his blade-skills.

Hehehe, mini-story for a big picture. This took me...pretty much all day to do. XD The longest parts? Shading the chars and working my arse off on that background, phew! I have to admit - I cheated on that city - I was working and working on that like crazy - did about four different versions, but didn't want it to look like a brown pile of...yeah, so I found a stock pic of a terraced jungle city and blended it best I could with my current arsenal of speedpainting brushes. Just reminds me I need to practice...cities from an aerial view. (Aeto, if you ever want me to update that when I can do cities more satisfactorily, hit me up. XD )

Alas, I digress. I so dig the atmosphere in this pic, and just all the textures of the foliage, and the fabric, and the fur, and Aeto's face - seriously, check out that cobra's head. I'm worried he might strike through my computer screen. XD

I digress some more. Commissions are still open!
