~~~Meet Sheila! She's a fancy auburn-coloured Chinese dragon! And she's anthro! And a girl!
Some anthro practice after an awesome day with - she was a huge help with female torso anatomy, haha. Also some anthro practice for myself - this time a dragon. Not sure if Sheila here will have a 'feral' form or not. Probably not.
I love how she turned out! I was originally going to go with the red and green combo similar to my Minty dragon, though I decided otherwise - glad I did - I love the earthy tones. I was thinking fire drake...then earthen drake...now maybe mountain drake? Mongolian Desert drake! That's it!
Constructive criticism is welcome. ^^ I've...pretty much never drawn anthros before, so any tips are appreciated.

Through this drawing, I can tell you know how to use the tools available to you in digital art. The shading, lineart and background are all confidently done, and they all fit together. The glow behind the character makes her pop out from the drawing, so it's clear that the focus is on her, and yet she fits with the background perfectly thanks to the similar colors and the fact that the background isn't overly detailed.
I'm personally not great at anatomy, but I think that the anatomy in this drawing is excellent. First of all, you blended dragon anatomy with human anatomy brilliantly, with the digitigrade legs, lengthened neck, and the armor on the various parts of the character's body. It looks like you have a great grasp of human anatomy as well; especially, the bend in her torso is well-defined. And I think the proportions are all about right, too. ^^
I wish I could give you some pointers on what to improve on, but this looks great to me and I can't figure out what I wouldn't like about it. xD It's definitely amazing for having not drawn anthros before. I would like to know how you get the lineart that looks like it was drawn with a pencil onto the drawing program (I love the way it looks on this drawing); I've tried coloring a sketch on Photoshop before, but the colors look rather transparent and I can't seem to figure it out.

Like the pose and colors. I guess being anthro allows the longer arms/legs than the traditional lung dragon of the East. Also should mean she's a flier.

beautifull, would you do it again? im looking to finalize the design on my fursona but im having a hard time with doing that because i am not used to doing my work digitaly. so shading and depth arent to good right now.

Very nice! I'm a little curious about how her toes seem to be longer than her fingers...are they as dexterous?
For not having done much anthro stuff, this is amazing! And even if you had drawn a LOT of anthro stuff, this is still amazing! I really like the texturing and shading, and the pose is just fun; pretty sure I look like that when bouncing on an invisible trampoline. (Minus the tail, claws, and general dragon-ness, of course...
