~~~So I've been thinking a lot about the Planetary Dragons I did for that contest a while ago - this guy (and gal) might go in one shortly, as well, but I haven't gotten that far yet.
Anyways, these two are just the bare scratches of the surface of the whole Solar System series to come. (Oh no...that just opened up galaxies and stars and crap...oh man...) :3

Three Things You Should Know About This Picture:
1 - Don't get on me about the whole 'omg Pluto iznt a planet anymoar!' I oppose that whole deal. XD
2 - Don't get on me about the whole 'omg there r two dragons!' If you like astronomy like many people do, you'll know that Pluto has a moon - Charon - almost the size of the planet itself, therefore dubbing itself ' Pluto's twin', or 'Bride' as I like to call it.
3 - There's a spider on your back.

So yeah.
I decided to make them a bit more alien-like - since Pluto is kind of out there...literally. Sort of sharp and isolated and...almost icy, considering they're flying around, like, in the Quiper Belt. O.o Rocks and ice, man, rocks and ice.
Though I think my favourite part is the background - all those stars... I really wanted to keep it rather stark - different from my other Planetary Dragons - since they're at the far reaches of the Solar System and all. I kept the sun just that tiny speck of light - the single star in the sky that keeps everything in balance, even beyond where our eyes - and imagination - can take us.
*insert audience 'ooohhh, aaahhh' here*

Quick question: Which is which? I love how you remembered Charon (yay astronomy!) but I couldn't figure out which one was Pluto and which one was Charon. I was thinking Pluto was in front?

Don't go telling me there's a spider on my back, it will be dead....after half the house and the majority of my room get's demolished in the process.

I bring out the hair spray, the plastic containers and drown the little bother when I get the chance. Then I squish it to finalize it all. I'm a bit morbid, but it's in all due respect because of past dealings with them >.>

Pluto should've had the Grandfather Clause come into effect. We didn't know about these so-called "dwarf planets" when we inducted Pluto. So you can just scurry off and call all those rocks floating out there "dwarf planets" and I shall live happily here in my nine-planet Solar System.
-cough- Getting back to the actual drawing... I love how you included Cheron as Pluto's sister. They both look so strange and otherworldly, even for dragons, but that's what so amazing about it.

This picture is wonderfully done, and yes, Pluto is and always shall be a planet!
That being said...Be careful; you might give scientists ideas if they saw pictures like these. Before you know it, scientists will start claiming that we are living on the backs of gigantic dragons!
...Actually, that would be freaking awesome.

Pluto really is a planet....
1 it needs to sustain it's own orbit witch it dose
2it needs a moon witch I've hear people say it dose
3it is not a moon!
and 4 no matter how small a planet is that doesn't make it not a planet like children are still humans.Pluto's just the runt of the family!
