Wanted to try something different from all the portraits of late...painted on the fly, just started laying down marks until something started to appear...still want to do soemthing to it...dunno what, but enjoyed paintin it tho. Hope ye like!about 2.5 hours in Photoshop

One of my favorite on line science fiction magazines is called Ray Gun Revival (www.raygunrevival.com ) They are always looking for cool sci fi art. Maybe you could give them a try, almost all the covers used have been DA artists. They can't pay, but they offer exposure and an artists interview page in the issue your art would be on. The guy at the magazine who looks for the cover art likes really tight, cool sci fi art that tells a story.

Trying to be funny and failing. Just my way of saying I don't have a lot of money to have any artists on DA do art work for me. I am writing some science fiction short stories and want some illustrations, but me and my wife are very tight on cash. Let's just chalk it up to an embarrassing moment that one hopes gets forgotten quickly.

Ok. Listen to this, and see what you think. I am going to submit a science fiction story about a fictional futuristic city called Torva Prime on the planet Torva. The main character is a private detective named Vincent (Vince) McCann. Think of a futuristic Humphry Bogart/Sam Spade type. He drives a replica 1965 Pontiac GTO made out of a nearly indestructible material and twin machine guns pop out of the two front quarter panels. If you ever need an idea, let me know, I got tons of em. I just don't have the talent to draw from my head.

I know, it's terrible. Now in Social Studies we're watching this movie called "Darwin's Nightmare" that's about the situation in Africa (import on weapons, and exportation of all the food). Definitely something to see... sad to see how the human race can be so cruel, even with itself.
