Another page of Portal 2 sketches, with my humanoid GLaDOS and Wheatley, and Chell. c:First thing's first - you're probably thinking something along the lines of "Doesn't your GLaDOS have short hair?". Well yes, yes she does. But I wanted really badly to draw her with a different hairstyle, so I've decided that in my headcanon, GLaDOS' hair grows over the however many years it is that she is dead (yeah, her hair grows while she's dead... creepy ._.), and then she cuts it back to its original style after waking up. It was an interesting excercise, trying to draw the same character with a completely different hairstyle, yet still keeping her recognisable.
Also, you'll probably noticed that weird lines have appeared on their faces - well, I decided that they didn't look android-y enough, so I added them. Also twirked Wheatley's outfit a little. God, I need to stop being so inconsistent. XD

This is a lot like how I imagined the re-activation scene, except the addition of Glados' neck being broken and her hair in a different style, but the same length

I probably had Chell's expression while Wheatley tried to 'hack' GLaDOS, basically, "holy crap, she's waking up and going to murder us" Only after going through the game did I realize the password is probably Caroline. I was even enough of a nerd to count the amount of 'a's Wheatley said just to be sure...
I bet drawing the flow of all her hair took a long time. Very impressive.

actually, its not weird that her hair has grown -- studies show that your hair and nails continue to grow up to 10 days after you die; and since GLaDOS has always been "still alive" ( ) it all works out! X3

GLaDOS was originally going to be cast from the role of Rapunzel, but they reconsidered after she flooded the studio with deadly Neurotoxin.

Ow wow. I've always love this scene too. I actually ficced it out from a human/android point, but I love the GLaDOS' long hair. I may be tempted to make some edits... If you don't mind me using your design that is.

I love your human/android style. Very unique!! And I LOVE your GLaDOS. She looks so freaky. I would love to see this whole peice in full color, although the single colors on the eyes are very striking. Amazing work!!
