Description
The full name is “Whistle me the tune of drowned memories” but it didn’t fit in the title.

And this is my first complicated photomanipulation. It took me a little over 8 hours. This is an assignment for History of Contemporary Art where we had to give a surrealistic photo montage or manipulation and I decided to do one with Deviant Stock.

I didn’t know what to do really; I was out of surrealistic ideas. And then poof! The idea came to me fully formed, although some details no. The Whistle, for example, was a random adding done by my dear friend ~boing-boing ; the ladybug is an adding that my mother did (we want to get a ladybug tattooed on our right hand); the candelabra and fork are homage to Disney’s “Little Mermaid”; the framed man was partly inspired by my dear friend *LordSaddler and well… a bunch of little details and little things that came up during the process. =VegaLightsMyWay was really on my mind while I was doing it because she does great photomanips.

I don’t know if I’ll do this again… a lot of work really and my surrealistic mind is not working properly lately… I prefer to paint with acrylics than with pixels… I really hope you like it!!!

The blue butterfly is from (great shots with white backgrounds)
The fork is from

The perfect underwater scenes is from:
The candelabra is from (she has transparent images! No erasing backgrounds!)
The smoke brush is from (Excellently done!)
The wonderful cloud brushes are from
The whistle, the window, the painting and the ladybugs were taken from google.

I do have one issue with the crediting though, despite the fact that I was extremely careful. Long time ago I downloaded the bubble brushes (some are mine though), I wasn’t a Deviant user back then, and now I can’t remember who provided them. If you recognize them, please tell me so I can give you proper credit. They are FANTASTIC!
