"Humans are off the menu, bugly! Ya reign of tyranny ends here and now!" ~Hyembs, if you couldn't read my sloppy handwriting lmfao.

Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Wow, more fairy tale big cartoon dragon artwork! Now we seen Hyembs protecting Kobolds, (which you can see here: Defender of the Kobold-Folk )-- but what about Humans? When the knights of the land cannot possibly fight against the terrifying large monsters, Hymebs takes the scene. Crawling out of her cavern to go and fight whatever is harming the townsfolk. Hyembs is meant to be a friend to all, and she isn't going to let some gigantic monster start eating and ruling over the people who can't defend themselves. So here she is, squaring off against some terrifyingly large alien... Bug Queen creature, that is most likely native wildlife and has no idea what Hyembs is actually saying, but still- Hyembs is hoping she'll be able to beat this big monarch up and make her say she's sorry... and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, they will not return.

(Hopefully-)

(Also no, the Insect Queen's name is not "Bugly", but it might as well be.)

The universe that Hyembs belongs to does not connect to the greater setting I'm working on of "Skin to Scales" and is meant to be a way more cuddly, cute, and adorable setting in comparison to my main works. The general synopsis of "Hyembs the Dragon" is about a colorful, fairy tale dragon created by a mysterious wizard to help defend the land from gigantic and kaiju like monsters. With the sudden vanishing act of her creator, many of the other dragons have left their duties, while Hyembs stays firmly foot as a self-proclaimed guardian of the people.
