1939 Delahaye 165M Figoni & Falaschi Cabriolet.Nearly every design these guys came up with is stunning; this example of coachwork (which i have also seen on a Bugatti T57) being no exception. This will be my last drawing this year, and I wanted to finish on a high note

I was hoping it would go well, as this day I had a friend around, who wanted to do a drawing, and was borrowing my pencils, wanted some of my advice... I thought I may as well do a drawing at the same time so I hoped I wouldn't mess up in front of him haha

Stunning !!!!! - I love the designs from the 40's and 50's. Go's to show how boring some of the designs are now, however back to the drawing, its a definate stunner you should pat your self on the back for this piece.

Same here - the golden age was much more interesting than today's offerings of plastic mass-manufactured rubbish (speaking generally, of course). I hope to be getting some interesting designs from the 1950s onto paper next year...

I'll have to put in lots of effort to do as much next year... I think I'll probably do a little less, but try to do some more higher-quality stuff (along the lines of the canyon chase drawing)

I agree, many desings back then were playing around with streamlined designs; many cars and boats did have some similarities; occasionally being 'boat-tailed' on purpose.
