Description
Sketched some quick portraits in between working on other art, then turned them into some kind of mini guide) Initially, I arranged the characters from oldest to youngest, but it didn’t look very good, so now they are ranked according to size. In terms of height, the order differentiates only on Breeze and Irbis - Breeze is larger, but Irbis is a little taller.

Here are most of the main "The Scavengers" characters: all the Morticians (Parhelion, Stargazer, Breeze, Irbis and Crimson), their messenger from the Center Newt, the newbies Sal and her older sister Hyena + Racer from one of the other squads (he's introduced in the second part). Hyena is more of a secondary character, but at the same time she is one of the first to appear, so I thought why not add her too~

I slightly adjusted several designs and decided on the features of all the characters, aaaand - hurray-hurray - Newt is the second protag! To be honest, I have decided this some time ago, but I didn’t see the opportunity to introduce him in the new role. I wouldn’t call this choice difficult - this guy has a very convenient place in the plot, and his point of view opens up many possibilities. But looking at the genre, I somehow feel sorry for him...

... I also made an Excel timeline spreadsheet to figure out the ages of the characters, and now I can say with accuracy that the beginning of the story falls on 5.009 year after the Scorching :>
