This reminds me of an...incident when I was in elementary school. I had been called up to the principal's office (only for good reasons I swear), and outside I noticed a kid that was maybe in first/second grade accompanied by an adult just outside. The adult barely had enough time to warn me not to look at or interact with him, and I had just complied when, as if on cue, the kid starts waving his arms around, almost jumping, and in short order began demanding I look at him.
So kinda like that, except the kid demanded attention and not fear, and wasn't quite as adorable. And nobody got their ears singed.
