It's finally finished! The new version of the Vol 1 cover! As you can see, I tried to go for a much brighter, cheery atmosphere with this version, to contrast with the much darker cover of Vol 2. I had a lot of fun experimenting with it, and I think it's turned out really well! And yes, Flora did end up finding some clothes between the front and back cover, apparently. xD My thought process behind the cover was that she decided to go for a swim, and then the back is the aftermath, with the sun lower on the horizon to indicate it's a little later in the day.Hope you enjoy it! Basically, yes, but a lot Americans have "German" sounding names due to the immigration generations ago when their grand-grand-grand-grandparents settled in the US...maybe one of his ancestors came from a german speaking nation like Germany or Austria...?
