People kind of hope for another change if the dA administration notices "we just screwed". Of course that would imply the admins listen closely to the community, but seeing how the new version "fixed what wasn't broke", broken things are still broken and popular community wishes like a collaboration option are still not implemented, I think they're going to let v7 like it is.
