YESSSSSSS it was like the coolest thing!!!!!!! I LOVED the dark matter concept and that it momentarily turned everyone against each other. (Or, well, against Lloyd.) I loved when they did it to Nya too. It was just really dark and spooky and it was so cool.
And then nowadays we've got people dying all over the place and maybe coming back to life and then others dying but showing up in departed realms and then some technically dying because they're a ghost but they didn't exactly die andβ
It's just really awesome to see how the show has grown since then. It makes me nostalgic T^T

I agree!! They kinda tried to turn the ninja against each other in season 4 but it didn't really match the cool thing they did with the Dark Matter. And I guess when Lloyd was possessed by Morro, they turned him against the ninja technically. It would be really cool to see there be another event where one of them just turned on the other because of some crazy substance again.Β

That episode came out in 2012. November 21, 2011 was when Ninjago started. 2010 was when they released the βmovieβ

Β 2012?!?? Jeepers. I was thinking of the mini movie coming out into 2010 but I didn't know they started Ninjago THAT much later after it, jeepers!?! I can't believe how many years ago that was. I remember when season 2 ended and they kind of announced season 3 but didn't say much about it and then they took an ENTIRE YEAR to release the episodes, as "specials", but they were all MONTHS apart. That was the worst time ever, having to wait for Rebooted XDD

Oh season 2 ended in 2012. Season 1 started in 2011.
Oh my gosh it took FOREVER for them to fully release season 3 XD

I think by now, because Ninjago is so popular, they wouldn't do that again. Just cause, like, there's a demand for it now whereas around the time rebooted was coming out in 2013, there kinda wasn't? I mean people liked it, but there was such a lack of development for the show and stuff for it itself that it wasn't as important then, I guess is the word for it.
That was SUCH a dry year for the fandom, too. Pretty much everybody abandoned it because they were waiting for so long. I remember it was such a struggle to have a community for it that year because legitimately 90% of the fanbase had disappeared and moved on in the wait for rebooted.
