Description

History: Some generic uniforms used by officers of the German Army during World War II. When the national socialists came to power in 1933, a full redesign began of the old uniform used by the Reichswehr, the armed forces of the Weimar Republic. This new uniform was introduced the same year and saw various cosmetic changes until it became the official M36 service uniform three years later. The uniform retained the field grey colour of the late imperial army and the Reichswehr. Officer uniforms remained mostly the same throughout the war, but a more noticeable change that was made from the old uniform is the placket now consisted of six buttons for officers instead of eight and the collar tabs were now dark green instead of grey. The blouse was also shorter and tailored. These practical changes was due to the new motorized warfare doctrine the army would later utilize against Europe.

The uniforms depicted here may differ to the real counterparts as these aren't the only ones ever worn and many variants were produced.
