Description A comic from my journal comic series "The Secret Life of a Journal Comic". You can read more at my main site at www.journalcomic.com

And now for it's original notes...

I always find it so astounding the way events and IRL plot points can interweave into a tapestry that can almost make it feel as though everything is somehow connected. Of course this sort of perception could just be the symptoms of being both a writer and fractured individual who desperately wants to believe that there's some order and/or direction to the universe. But you know, it could go either way.

In either case, despite strings of events being connected, there never seems to be any resolution to any of these thread, which either reaffirms that the thread itself is a mental construct, or I'm still waiting for the end of the season for this to all tie up. Man, life better not pull a fucking "Lost" on me.

I dunno if your halftones are just a stylistic thing, but I think your linework is strong enough to stand alone without it. Maybe its just me, but it makes your comics almost look to 'busy'.

I've been moving away from them more with my recent comics to give my lines a little room to breath. But yeah, I enjoy the style as well.

Im pretty sure its just a mental construct, I recall reading that the brain is wired to see patterns where there isnt actually any
