A necromancer who had attempt to save his dying wife by tying her to this world. The attempt had failed and now he was a broken man, he had given up magic and the spirit of his wife was cursed and trapped in the world. I commissioned this piece from Tyler and my description was rather vague. It was to be a necromancer who had attempt to save his dying wife by tying her to this world. The attempt had failed and now he was a broken man, he had given up magic and the spirit of his wife was cursed and trapped in the world. Now the necromancer is approaching the player to ask him to kill his wife and end her suffering.
I expected great work (because everything Tyler does is amazing). But I'm still floored at how much of that story he conveys in his art. It's an incredible piece.
